Bosses are worthless kills if you plan to get 9 dragons gold blood counts. Not only for the time they take to kill, but because is very probably the blood count system works same of the bosses. They dont seem to give you extra counts. If someone thinks otherwise please post. Besides, try not to solo them unless you have a proper party or you are fully confident of your skills. This also add to CoF runs (Choice of Fate).

Blood Count priority
Is not the same to have 100 BC than to have 500+ BC, so as blood count increases, your safety measures should increase in order to achieve the 999 goal. Up to the 350 and more you shouldn't worry to loss you BC, you might've able to achieve it again in a matter of very few hours, or less depending on what you kill. Once you get to the 450 you must be watching out for your HP constantly and avoid being heavy mobbed. After 600+ do everything possible in your sleeve to not die, and avoid bosses as well. At the 800 BC, you might not want to grind alone and find parties all time, to increase chance of ressurrection may you enter in near death.

BC approach by class / role
Every role has a different way of killing monsters, meaning is a different approach to the 999 goal. Here is a brief depiction of each style points:
Warrior: One of the fastest killers, but the lack of self healing presents a serious drawback. They need to take care of their HP the most.
Nuker: Slow paced kill. They normally goes one vs. one at a time, and needs to constantly take distance. On the other hand, they always stay out of the monster packs.
Healer: Their heals makes them suitable for some close combat, and they get even more powerful with their buffs on.
Hybrid: A good choice when it comes to BCing your way around. They have a slightly higher damage then healers and may at least have enough heals to sustain themselves. Also they draw enemies out of packs with light nukes.
