- Do everything possible to increase survival chances: have a big party, get 9 dragons gold as buffed possible.
- Watch out of the defense decrease of Rage and Berserk Modes.
- Avoid being mobbed (attacked by numerous enemies at once)
- If you see your Hp bar blinking, it means you have less than 10% of your Life energy. If that happens, leave combat inmediately regardless of how much energy your opponent has left and meditate on the nearest safest spot.
What not to do:
- Attack orange and red named monsters. (This may vary greatly by the player's role / class)
- Attempt to solo Bosses very near your level (white, yellow).
- Grind on boss spawn areas. (Consult other guides or players help to see which boss spawns where)
The Aggro factor
Aggro is when a NPC enemy, or monster, turn into aggressive stance agaisnt you and attacks. It has been proven that certain things causes aggro while others keeps it low. Remenber that even standing still in peace mode does activate aggro, but is not as often as, for example, when you do a Smashing skill. One way to prevent too much aggro is to continously do the combo attack only and keep low the skills you do. (This is based on my experience). Aggro is a variable threat to your BC, depending on how many counts you have and the number of enemies you have on you at once.
What is the best kill for BC?
This is probably the biggest question when it comes to get 9 dragons gold the best for making the 999 blood count. Basically, not every enemy you kill gives you a instant valid kill for the blood count. The key is to check onto the monster level, and your own level. I'll do my own depiction of this work, however, once again I mention that this is my own experience and is subject to player discussion and modification. This is as follows: X represents how many times you need to kill a opponent of the same name color to obtain a single count. This is very simple and crude, and might not work the real way:
Red named enemy
Orange named enemy (x1or x2)
Yellow name enemy (x2 or x3)
White name enemy (x3)
-Player-
Blue named enemy (x4 or x5)
Light blue named enemy (x5 or x6 or more)
Deep blue named enemy (none)
Bosses
